Na de zoveelste bootreis die we met jullie hebben gedaan, komt men steeds tot het besluit hoe deugddoend het is en verrijkend. Het weer viel niet al te best mee, maar we hebben er het beste van gemaakt.
Dank alweer voor het lekkere eten en de gastvrijheid.
De Westhoek is een prachtige tocht.

Het weer zat niet echt mee, grijs en koud, maar de herinnering aan 6 relaxe en leerrijke dagen zal warm zijn.

Het was een heel mooie reis, een echte superervaring!
Het eten was altijd lekker en anders, Maurits maakt veel grapjes, en de bedden lagen heerlijk.
En ik heb buitenshuis nog nooit zo'n goeie douche mogen gebruiken! =)
Het was echt leuk en ik kijk ernaar uit om nog eens terug te komen!

Ik heb heel lang naar deze bootreis uitgekeken en ik vond hem echt fantastisch! Ik vind het spijtig dat hij maar zo kort duurde. 🙁

Onze eerste bootreis, met als hoogtepunt de lift van Strépy-Thieu! Dankjewel voor de heerlijke maaltijden, de fotografie-les, de vele weetjes, de aandacht voor de kinderen...

Wat jammer, de vakantie is voorbij!
Het was verschrikkelijk... fijn, leuk, aangenaam,gezellig, ontspannend,rustig, leerrijk, och...eigenlijk moeilijk te verwoorden.
Wat zeker gezegd mag worden:
Beste Olga en Maurits, dankjewel voor het lekkere eten (wat werden we verwend), de vaardige stuurkunst (natuurlijk), lessen, hulp bij alles, de fijne, deugddoende babbel, het aandenken... en noem maar op.
Daarom hartelijk dank en een warme omhelzing!

We all loved our trip on your barge,
which was perfect, and not to large,
The bike rides were amazing & such fun!
hooning along in the sun.
Olga's food was plentiful and yummy
more than filling our already bulging tummies.
Sadly for you, I'll be back,
and definitely not to take up the slack!

Ontzettend bedankt voor de geweldige reis. We hebben genoten van jullie gastvrijheid, een heerlijk ontspannende reis. Lekker fietsen en relaxen op de boot en natuurlijk de heerlijke maaltijden. (Volgende week dieet!!!
Wij wensen jullie nog veel vaarplezier voor de toekomst en wie weet zien we elkaar nog eens terug. Wie weet kunnen we de 3 gemiste dagen nog een keer inhalen.

Thank you so much for a fabulous trip! Full of new experiences and delicious meals. Thanks extra for looking after my special diet so well.
We loved the barge travelling, so smooth and slow enough to enjoy the birds and passing countryside & villages, and with every possible lock mechanism.
Cycling along the canal paths was also a highlight, with time to enjoy the nature as well as the exercise to work off our ample meals.
Thank you for your unlimited information and answering all our questions and accommodating all our different activities.

We absolutely loved the barge trip, it was something we will never forget!
Maurits - your knowledge of the area, the locks, bird & animal life was second to none. Any question we had was answered thoroughly.

Olga en Maurits,
er wordt al wel ééns gezegd, achter elke sterke man staat een sterke vrouw, op onze eerste 4 vaargetijden vaarvakantie hebben we dat zeker ondervonden, wat een sterk team jullie zijn.
Kapitein Maurits zorgt als een goede huisvader voor zijn schip en passagiers. Olga je bent één uitstekende kokkin, van uw kookkunst kunnen we nog veel leren.
Wij hebben een heerlijke, ontspannende week gehad, verwend zelfs.
De liefde en respect die jullie hebben voor de natuur en dieren, maken van jullie prachtige mensen.
Het weer was uitstekend, wat alles nog net iets beter maakt.
